Knowing that I wanted to become a small animal veterinarian, I began working in a veterinary practice my senior year of high school and haven’t stopped since. I graduated from MSU in 2000, spent a year with my husband, Adam, in North Carolina while he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, and returned to MSU for veterinary school. Upon graduation in 2005, I began practicing as a small animal veterinarian at Waverly Animal Hospital in Lansing, MI, after already having worked there as an assistant. In May 2008, Adam and I fulfilled my life-long dream of owning a veterinary practice by purchasing Crossroads Animal Hospital in Jackson, MI. In 2010 we fulfilled another dream by becoming accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). In 2018, we fulfilled yet another dream by renovating and expanding Crossroads to include boarding and grooming, as well as to modernize our facility and equipment.
Adam has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development and Management from Spring Arbor University and a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary. By trade, he’s a minister and videographer, but for Crossroads, he helps with the business, construction, maintenance, and supporting us however we need.

I grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (2006) and obtained my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2010) at Michigan State University.
I spent 2 years practicing in Indiana before returning to Michigan. After returning to Michigan, I spent 6 years at a large practice near Toledo before joining Crossroads Animal Hospital in November 2018.
I am passionate about my role as a primary care veterinarian and thrive on developing a strong relationship with my patients and their families. My professional interests include dentistry and oral surgery, soft tissue surgery, wound management, behavioral medicine, and nutrition. I love being part of a strong team and I enjoy teaching and mentoring others.
I share my home with two whippets, Emmett and Quinn, and four cats, Elroy, Astro, Ferran, and Felicity. I am an avid crafter and spend much of my free time sewing, painting, knitting, or crocheting. I also enjoy golfing, reading, and listening to audiobooks.
